This event serves as an opportunity for local Amateurs to practice their emergency response capabilities and to demonstrate radio communications to the general public.

It provides an opportunity to learn about amateur (ham) radio, further develop skills, operate different modes, experiment, and socialize.   Non-amateurs are able to "Get on the Air".  This event runs until Sunday at noon.
