South Beloit will travel on the road to take on the 1 and 6 Christian Life/Keith Country Day/Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy football team on Friday, Oct. 28, 2024. South Beloit is 5 and 2 coming off a tough loss to #2 Milledgeville 40-0.
The SOBOs had won 5 in row before last week’s loss. They continue to be led by senior Trudane Peterson and his 658 rushing yards and 9 rushing TDs. Sophomore Chase Harrington has 500 yards on the ground and scored 4 TDs. Starting quarterback junior Landen Reed has thrown for 7 TDs and is 41 of 89 for 625 passing. His favorite target has been junior Kaden Cook with 17 catches for 406 yards and 6 TDs.
On defense, Landen Reed and Jacob Wilhite have combined for 11 interceptions and will lock down whatever air game that Christian Life/Keith Country Day/Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy Football team might decide to try against them.
Kickoff for the SOBOs and Christian Life/Keith Country Day/Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy football game is set for 7 p.m.
