Congratulations to the bass team. They placed 18th out of 75 teams in the IHSA Bass Fishing 2021 state finals in Carlyle IL over the weekend. Great job!!!

Dress Code Reminder:

With the changing season, remember to not wear hats, hoods, or caps and wear clothing that covers all undergarments, private areas, and midriffs. Students in violation of the dress code will be allowed to correct the violation or face disciplinary consequences.

You can now view your student ID on your Skyward app. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click View ID. A scannable barcode will appear, along with your picture. Stop in the DA office if you have any questions.

Check your school email for reminders, and please return all library materials before the end of the school year. If you are still using a book for class, keep it until your project is done. There are no fines for late books this year. When you return your book, your fine is erased. The only fines are for LOST or DAMAGED books. If your book has been LOST or DAMAGED, you can bring cash or check to the library to pay for it.

Hot off the press! The school newspaper's last edition of the year is printed and ready for distribution. To celebrate and commemorate a difficult year of school, we featured student art submissions, articles about creativity and Covid, and quotes from teachers and students! If you would like a copy, please request one through the library or stop by the visitor's desk. Newspapers are always free and yours to keep!

The Freshmen class student council has several Representative positions still to fill for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are interested in any of these positions please pick up a petition outside room 1203 and return it to Mr. Lawyer by 3:30pm on Wednesday, May 26th.

Anyone wanting to participate in summer football activities and play this fall, please stop by room #2001 (Mr.Zimmerman's classroom) and pick up camp forms, summer calendar, and varsity jersey information. The varsity jersey info. needs to be submitted and paid for by Friday, June 4th.

Girls basketball will begin summer camp on Tuesday, June 8th. Any girls interested in participating in summer basketball should see or email Coach Brunke to get a schedule and sign-up form.

Lunch is a choice of Tacos or Fajitas, Deli Sandwich or Vegetarian Chef Salad & Steamed Corn, Spanish Rice & an apple. (The term 'fajita' translates to 'little skirt' or 'little band')
