Renaissance Club will be hosting their first meeting of the year in room 2114 today (Tuesday, August 27)  at 3:20.  If you are unable to make it, please contact Mrs. Beaulieu. All students are welcome to join us.  

 Photo Club is meeting today (Tuesday, August 27) at 3:30 pm in room 1434. We'll talk about what the club does, upcoming plans & trips, and club t-shirts. All are welcome. Bring a friend. Email Mrs. Robinson with any questions.

Page Turners Book Club is meeting at 3:20 today (Tuesday, August 27) in the library. We'll preview our first read, Agatha Christie's classic mystery, Murder on the Orient Express, and make bookmarks.

Baking Club is meeting today (Tuesday, August 27) at 3:20 pm  in Room# 1623. Contact Ms. Blackburn if you need more information.

Come join Tabletop Gaming Club as we play Dungeons & Dragons, trading card games like Magic the Gathering, and board games. Join us for our FIRST meeting of the year today (Tuesday, August 27) from 3:15-5:00 in the Main AP room.

Rugby practices begin today (Tuesday, August 27th)! Meet us on the field west of the school across Salem Street, also known as the site of the old Rockton Grade School, from 3:40-5:00 PM. New players welcome! Email lfleeg@hononegah.org if you have any questions.

Due to the extreme heat advisory, we are postponing the Hononegah Softball open diamonds scheduled for this afternoon (Tuesday, August 27). The session will now take place on Saturday morning, starting at 7:00 AM at Swanson Park. All Hononegah student softball players are invited to attend.

Homecoming shirts will be on sale starting tomorrow (Wednesday) in the PAC lobby at 8:15 am and again at 3:20. Cost is $20 each. Cash, check or credit card will be accepted.

Varsity H-Club, the oldest club at HCHS, will meet tomorrow (Wednesday, August 28), at 8:15 a.m. in room #2001. If you are a current varsity athlete or have already earned a varsity letter, please join us for camaraderie and kick off the new school year and season by being part of a fun organization!

Attention, Gamers! We will meet tomorrow (Wednesday, August 28) from 3:15-5:00 PM in the AP Room. Please make sure that you have a ride by 5:00 pm.

Model UN will have a quick meeting on Thursday, August 29.  You can come to Mr. Smith's room 1209 before school or after school to collect information on the planned conferences for the fall.  We are always looking for new members.  

Were you glued to your screen when the Paris Olympics were taking place? Did you have a favorite event or athlete? The French Club is running TRIVIA for you! Those interested are encouraged but not required to have a team (max 4 people). We will have snacks for all who come, and a prize for the winner(s)! This will take place Thursday, August 29) from 3:20-4:15 in Madame McCoy's room 2424. Please arrange for transportation.

Hononegah Theatre is in search of an Assistant Stage Manager for their 2024 - 2025 production season! If you're someone who is well-organized, has a passion for the arts, and enjoys all things "behind the scenes," this job is for you! The 2024 Homecoming Court balloting will begin on Thursday, August 29th and will end on September  3rd. All students currently enrolled at Hononegah will appear on the ballot as we select boys and girls to appear as representatives on the court. If you have any concerns about appearing on the ballot please contact Mr. Lawyer at   mlawye@hononegah.org by school email or see him  in room 1203 before 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 28th.

Sign up to audition for Hononegah's own vocal jazz ensemble! Auditions will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday (September 3 and 4). Check the call board outside the choir room for audition details and to sign up for your audition. Everyone is welcome to audition, and contact Mrs. Frieden (cfried@hononegah.org) with questions.

Are you planning on bringing a guest to the Homecoming Dance? Guest forms are due on Thursday, September 12th.  Guest forms are available in the Athletic Office, Principal’s Office and on the main page of the School’s website. Completed forms (with a copy of the guest's ID) can be turned into the Athletic Office.

Remember: No Guest Form = No Guest Ticket!

At Hononegah, we are on time! The DA office is tracking tardies, and referrals begin this week. Please ensure you arrive at school and to your classes on time to avoid disciplinary consequences!
