Tough night for the South Beloit SOBOs as they lose to Milledgeville 40-0
Friday night was a learning experience for the South Beloit SOBOs, as Milledgeville was able to overwhelm the SOBOs on Friday 40-0 on Oct. 11, 2024.
The Missiles scored through the air, on the ground and were able to turn back every attempt South Beloit made to mount a comeback by getting turnovers or turnover on downs.
South Beloit now sits at 5-2 and understands why Milledgeville was ranked #1 until they lost to Polo 30-14 last week. In fact, the only losses for South Beloit has been to Milledgeville and Polo. Not too bad: having only lost to the number one and number two teams in the polls for 8-man football in IHSA play.
