Strong spirits: belief or unbelief?

Are you a believer or an unbeliever, when it comes to Jesus? Maybe a little of both?

One time a man brought his son to Jesus to have him healed. He said to Jesus, "If you can do anything for us, take pity on us and help us." Jesus replied, " 'If you can'? Everything is possible for him who believes." The man replied at once, I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" (Mark 9:22-24)

Doesn't that sound like us sometimes? We believe in God, and we believe God can answer our prayer, we're just not sure he will.

The challenge is to start taking God at his word. He loves us and wants the best for us. Our faith will grow when we start spending more time with him and getting to know him better. We'll know better how to pray. I believe I will. How about you?
