Hononegah class of 2013 reunion

Zach Kentner reports that the Hononegah class of 2013 held their 10 year (technically 11) class reunion on Saturday night, June 16, 2024 at La Casa Grande in Beloit.

"The event was very successful with about 50 attendees traveling in from California, Arizona, Maryland, and the local area.

"We had custom nametags with our senior yearbook picture on them, a Polaroid camera station for making a reunion scrapbook, raffle prizes from local area businesses, and Mr. Tom Polaski was asked to attend and he delivered a speech to the reunion class. Mr. Polaski retired the same year we graduated after 33 years teaching at Hononegah.

"Dee Dee's cafe, Cutthroat Corbin's barber shop, Sugar Britches, and Dairy Haus all donated items to be raffled off.

"2013 graduates Marco Altamore and Kurtis VanBarriger (owners of Marco's Slots) sponsored the event.

"Colin Carey, Zach Kentner, and Megan Genens were the reunion planning committee.
