Strong spirits: mystery!

Do you like a good mystery? I do! I love trying to figure out what's going on and how the mystery will be resolved. I love how it holds my attention and keeps me thinking about it and trying to solve it myself.

God by definition is mysterious. So vast, so powerful, so beyond description, and yet so approachable and loving. Not only is God mysterious, he holds mystery. That is, he keeps back certain information for a time until it will be right and appropriate to reveal it to us.

Here is probably the greatest mystery: "This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus." (Paul the apostle (Ephesians 3:6).

In short, what this means is that all people now have access to God through Jesus and what he accomplished at the cross.

All people have access to God through Jesus. He loves everyone and wants a relationship with each of us. Pretty amazing. Kind of mysterious. Wonderful!

Don't miss out. If you haven't already, I encourage you to start that relationship with God today! Mystery solved!
