Opening up the season, the Hononegah Indians are a favorite to win the NIC 10 conference. The Indians have won four of the last 8 NIC 10 titles. They do have a returning QB in Cole Warren, who got some time last year during some games that got out of control for the Indians. Jefferson is looking to get a win after losing 13 in a row and going winless in 2021. It's been over a decade since the J Hawks have beaten the Indians. In the last 10 games, the average score has been 45-8, with the only 1 scorer contest coming in 2016 with Hononegah winning 21-20.
