Teen Poetry Contest

In honor of April being National Poetry Month, Talcott Free Library is celebrating our local teen poets with a chance to enter their original work and win a $15 gift card to our local bookshop here in Rockton: Inkwell Books & Threads!

For ages 11 to 19 years old
Deadline is April 29, 2024

All entries need to be in the bucket at the library (101 E. Main St. Rockton, IL) by the deadline date. Limit: two poems per participant and all themes are welcome.
1. Take a slip and write your poem along with your first name and contact phone number OR email - use your guardian's contact information with permission if needed.
2. Fold and place slip in the bucket and one poem will be honored at the end of April.

Winner will be contacted shortly after the deadline date.
