Hononegah Indians boys hoops finish the season with a loss, but tournament begins next week
Indians dropped their last regular season game to Rockford Jefferson 52-48.
The Hononegah Indians boys basketball team wrapped up their 2023-2024 regular season on Wednesday night, Feb. 14, 2024 by dropping a NIC 10 contest to Rockford Jefferson 52-48.
The next game for the Indians is against Huntley on Wednesday, February 21, 2023 in their opening round game in the 4A IHSA Basketball tournament at 7:30 p.m. on the campus of Rockford East. The team plays in the Guilford sectional and, if they beat Huntley on Wednesday, could face NIC 10 conference champion Guilford Friday night February 23. The Hononegah Indians finish the regular season 11-16 and 8-10 in the NIC 10 conference.
