Rockton Police Chief Completes Executive Leadership Training

Rockton Police Chief Justin Jobst has recenly completed the 30th Annual New Chiefs of Police Program, an intensive executive‑level training held September 15–18, 2020, in East Peoria, Illinois.

The program, titled “Enduring, Surviving and Thriving as a Law Enforcement Executive,” was hosted by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board Executive Institute and is designed to prepare new chiefs for the complex demands of modern police leadership.

Chief Jobst received instruction on legal requirements, leadership strategies, state resources, and the political realities that shape law enforcement administration. The Executive Institute, founded in 1992 and based at Western Illinois University, provides professional development for law enforcement managers across the state.
