Janet Diesing: funeral and luncheon

Services for Janet Diesing (March 19, 1940 - June 6, 2024) of South Beloit will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 11 a.m. at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, IL. Following the funeral, a luncheon will be held at Dominic's Bar, 812 Ingersoll Place, South Beloit IL.

Her granddaughter Kristina Oldenburg says, "Jan was a proud resident of South Beloit, IL. Many years back before COVID, we would attend the Memorial Day parade and she would know all the citizens and police officers.  Jan and Bill stopping in somewhere to hear Tabby sing and maybe say hello to Suzy, at the Wheel. That is back when times were really fun. Jan loved to go have supper with Linda and XRay and friends and then stop off and test her luck, on the way home, on the machines!! Jan was just a lot of fun, always with a smile on her face and she is going to be greatly, greatly missed."
