First of its kind Mind Body Spirit Expo Coming to Stateline April 29

Holistic health and wellness, spiritual growth, mind-body-spirit healing

The AccessSoul Mind Body Spirit Expo welcomes 66 local vendors (and two food trucks) for a day of exploration, experiences, -- and shopping – Saturday, April 29 at the IBEW Venue Hall, 6820 Mill Rd in Rockford from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free and open to all. At this inaugural event you can interact with practitioners, healers, artists, creatives, and providers about natural wellness, spirituality, energy work, and living your highest most expansive life.

A curated selection of vendors offers an array of modalities, goods, and services. Crystals, handmade jewelry, home/beauty products, natural health care, Reiki, sound healing, Tarot readers, psychic mediums, channelers, past life regression, energy workers, salt therapy, hypnosis, soul art, essential oils, animal communication, astrology, yoga, EFT, enneagram, crone sisterhood, massage, shamanic energy medicine, meditation, and so much more along with sleep therapy, physical therapy, gut health, money management, skin care, aromatherapy, the list goes on!

Organizer Kelly Joy Simmons of AccessSOUL.com says, “No matter your interest or where you are on your path, all our practitioners, healers, providers are here to serve you, to help you live your most fulfilling life.” Kelly, a retired spiritual coach, felt called to gather local resources so people in the stateline area could realize all the modalities available here to help them on their journey. “My husband and I go to mind body spirit fairs in Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago and the suburbs. I don’t want to travel an hour and a half when we have a huge pool of incredible people right here in our region doing amazing things. I felt called to come out of retirement, to create a way to connect local people with local resources. Folks are open now to all kinds of ways to heal and grow, and it’s all right here in the stateline area. That is how and why this expo was born.”

Kelly continues, “I get asked all the time for references and resources. ‘Do you know someone who does Reiki with crystals?’ Yes, I do. ‘Do you know someone who does animal communication?’ Yes, I do. On and on. This is one way I can connect people for one day under one roof.”

The call for vendors received a tremendous response. The 6000 sq ft venue space is capped at 66 vendors, plus Kelly has a waitlist of more vendors wanting to take part and already asking about next year. Kelly expects attendee response to be just as enthusiastic. “The buzz is electric. We have created great momentum and I anticipate a packed hall. The region is ready. We are going to rock Rockford with love!”

Saturday, April 29, IBEW Venue Hall, 6820 Mill Rd, Rockford, 10am to 4pm, free admission. More information and full vendor list at AccessSOUL.com or kellyjoysimmons@gmail.com.

Steph Mains of Synergy Collective in Roscoe is part of the the expo. Steph started at Rockford City Market three years ago selling crystals and was mocked for “selling rocks.” Now she has just celebrated her first year with a brick and mortar on Main St, Roscoe. Come see Kathy Bjerke, Restorative Massage & Bodywork LLC from Roscoe, Karen Radtke of Integral Health Solutions (Roscoe), Jacque Nelson Art + The Mary Group (Roscoe), Petrea Meier Wow Journey Essentials of Oils (Roscoe), Wind Ridge Herb Farm of Caledonia, and 60 more vendors! AccessSOUL does not yet have a physical space, just my Roscoe living room for meditation gatherings 😊 which are growing beyond capacity too. Thank you!
