Strong spirits: protection
Have you ever wished someone would show up to rescue you from the mess you were in?

Have you ever been caught? Or stuck? Or wishing someone would show up to rescue you from the mess or danger you were in? I have... It is a sort of hopeless feeling... unless you can call on someone strong for help.
The witness of scripture, and the witness of my own life, is that God protects us, that he "never leaves us or forsakes us" (Hebrews 13:5). In the Bible, God is always rescuing or protecting someone. Consider David, Moses, Abraham. Paul, the demoniac in the tombs, the woman caught in adultery. In real time, your life and mine, God continues to do the same every day.
God is always only ever a prayer away. Whatever you are facing, however dire your circumstance, God longs to step in and help out. You need but ask.
"The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life. Of whom should I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
Is he the stronghold of your life? I cannot imagine trying to navigate life as crazy as it is without him at the helm. Let him in. Let him do what only he can.
P.S. Got questions? Want to talk? Let me know.
