- Usually the newly-acquired Jerry and Kathy Busse Prairie Preserve is not open to the public, but the Natural Land Institute will hold a open house there on Wed., May 28, 2025, 4 - 7 p.m. The 327-acre natural area spans the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Similarly, the Burr Oak Valley Nature Preserve off Elevator Road is open only to NLI members, by request, or for periodic public hikes.
- The Roscoe organizers of the annual Model A Day in Clinton have reminded us that their 36th gathering is Sunday, June 1, 2025 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Downtown Clinton, WI. This free event is one of the Midwest's largest Ford Model A events, with more than 100 cars expected. Visit their website for more information.
