Usually the newly-acquired Jerry and Kathy Busse Prairie Preserve is not open to the public, but the Natural Land Institute will hold a open house there on Wed., May 28, 2025, 4 - 7 p.m. The 327-acre natural area spans the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Similarly, the Burr Oak Valley Nature Preserve off Elevator Road is open only to NLI members, by request, or for periodic public hikes.
The Roscoe organizers of the annual Model A Day in Clinton have reminded us that their 36th gathering is Sunday, June 1, 2025 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Downtown Clinton, WI. This free event is one of the Midwest's largest Ford Model A events, with more than 100 cars expected. Visit their website for more information.
