- A Beloit man arrested in February at the Dollar General on Bluestem Road in Roscoe has been sent to state prison. Kordell McAdory (ID Y68961) was nabbed for unauthorized window tint and driving without insurance on a revoked license. Also: dealing up to 15 grams of cocaine and carrying an unlicensed gun. According to WTVO, he told deputies that he had the gun because "people wanted to murder him." After plea bargaining, most of the charges were dropped but not all. Following orientation at Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet, McAdory will be transferred to serve two years for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, followed by six months of Mandatory Supervised Release (MSR).
