- A plea hearing for Matthew Barnett is scheduled for Friday afternoon, Sept. 12 in Boone County. In November 2024, the former Chicory Ridge resident was charged with bank robbery in Belvidere. He now lives in Rockton. He is represented by Assistant Public Defender Seth Wiggins.

Hononegah is 2-0 after a 28-12 victory over Jefferson on Friday night in NIC 10 football action.
