Buy a filter, school board meeting

- After the Village of Rockton sent letters saying their water supply exceeded the acceptable PFAS limits, residents want to know what to do about it. For now, the Illinois EPA recommends that homeowners install carbon filtration and reverse osmosis systems for their drinking water. The Village is fixing the problem now and is required to eliminate it by 2029.
- New board members will be installed at Tuesday's Kinnikinnick school board meeting. On the agenda: the addition of boy’s volleyball for next school year, a Roscoe Middle School Dean position, the disposal of two surplus security gates from Ledgewood School, and the approval of schoolwide waivers for the Every Student Succeeds Act grants.
