- It’s a trend: Rockton Police advises everybody to keep avoiding the construction near Illinois Route 2 and Rockton Road. It will require daily lane closures of Illinois Route 2 until about Sept. 9. North bound traffic may opt to use Wagon Wheel Road to Blackhawk to go around, and south bound traffic may want to use Blackhawk Blvd to Wagon Wheel as well. Note, all south and north bound traffic can still proceed as normal, but will be reduced to a single lane, with flaggers alternating between north and south bound traffic. Expect delays.
