Chemtool payments are arriving in Rockton, Illinois, often more than $10,000 per household

Chemtool payments arrived electronically yesterday via Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal, with mailed checks hopefully not far behind. Today's court hearing will be livestreamed on YouTube at 1:30 p.m. With thousands of class members, several commented that their payments were larger than expected:

Gleasman Road, between Old River Road and Roscoe Road in the Village of Roscoe, will be closed to traffic for repairs at the rail road bridge. Work is scheduled to start on Monday, May 5, 2025 and it is anticipated to be completed on Friday, May 16, 2025. Local traffic will be able to have access on either side of the bridge. A detour route will be posted. The duration of the work and road closure is dependent on the weather. This work is performed under the direction of the CPKC railroad company.
