- South Beloit local musician Kristin Toon will perform at The Dari Ripple Friday evening, 6:30 - 8:30. Enjoy some ice cream and listen to some music.
- IDOT says “lanes that have been closed for construction will reopen, where possible, for Labor Day holiday to minimize travel disruption.” But on Illinois 2 over the Rock River near Rockton, lane reductions continue for the Labor Day weekend.
