What's happening in Rockton, Roscoe and South Beloit: from the staff of the award-winning Rockton-Roscoe News.
- Old River Road will be closed to all traffic today just south of the intersection with Roscoe Road. The culvert replacement is part of the Old River Road widening project currently under construction.
- Starting on Monday, April 27, 2026, IDOT will be performing repairs on the Prairie Hill Road bridge over I-90, with an anticipated completion date of May 4, 2026, dependent on weather. Traffic on Prairie Hill Road will be reduced to one lane with temporary traffic signals.
