Talcott Library is arranging blind dates - with books. The books are covered in plain brown paper with a dating profile on the front: "All about me... Age, genre, hometown, three words about me, my fav pickup line, barcode" - but it doesn't give the title or author. Find out more about this clever idea on their Facebook page and find more about the library on their website.

The BMO Harris Bank will be closing their branch near Schnuck's in April, according to a letter the bank sent to customers. A bank spokesperson told us, "We made the decision to close our Roscoe branch (located at 4844 Hononegah Road), effective April 2022. Our customers are changing how they want to conduct their banking with us, and we continually assess the performance of all of our operations, including our branches, to ensure we are best positioned to meet our customers’ evolving needs. BMO customers are encouraged to visit our nearby branch at 1530 West Lane in Machesney Park, which offers lobby and drive-up services."
