Meet Chuck Gilbert: candidate for Roscoe Township Board of Trustees

Chuck Gilbert enjoys serving the Roscoe Township Community in many capacities. Chuck and his wife Carlyn have been residents of the Roscoe Township for 48 years.
They raise their three children in Roscoe Township. His son and daughters attended Roscoe schools, including Hononegah Community High School.
Chuck was employed as Senior Director/VP at Taylor Company for 38 years, and 4 ½ years at Hendricks Holding. He is the founder of Dairyhaus Ice Cream Shop.
After his retirement, he served as Executive Director of the Stateline Chamber of Commerce and currently sits on the elev815 Board of Directors.
He is a member of the HOPE Foundation, the Workplace Readiness and Business Incubator Entrepreneurial program at HCHS. He started the HCHS Education and Manufacturers Council, is an Elev815 Board member, and a board member of Stateline Community Foundation.
Chuck is deeply involved in educational issues and projects at Hononegah and in the Roscoe community.
He became a Roscoe Township Trustee in 2021, and is seeking a second four -year term. Chuck is running as an independent candidate. “I enjoy listening to opinions and getting an understanding of what the opinions are based on. My focus is on learning and representing residents.”
Chuck would like to continue to be a part of the Roscoe Township’s progress and continuing improvements.
