Linda Creel was a nurse but her greatest joy was her family
Linda was a director of nursing in several large rehabilitation centers.
Linda Creel of Roscoe was born on August 5, 1944 in Corpus Christi, TX, the daughter of José and Julia Treviño. She married George A. Creal on September 11, 1965 and was a loving and devoted wife for 57 years.
The Lord called her home to glory on April 18, 2023 after a brief illness.
Linda graduated from Ocala Community College with her RN degree. Her Christian faith was a priority in her life and work. Linda worked in several hospitals and was a director of nursing in several large rehabilitation centers and made a huge difference in the lives of many people. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, quilting and helping others.
Linda’s greatest joy and love of her life was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, George Creal; and her four children, John Creal, Gaèllis Darling, Delia Creal and Taylor Ocasio; ten grandchildren, Kelsey Gonzalez, Payton DePersia, Ashley DePersia, Torrey DePersia, Riana Johns, Wilson Walker, Jonathan Creal, Georgia Temple, Kallen Lynch and Grant Lynch; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. Graveside service was in Roscoe Cemetery.
