Steven W. Franzen, 78, of Roscoe, passed away May 29, 2022. Steven served in the US Air Force. He was a mechanical engineer, working for W.A. Whitney for 25 years as well as KTI-Quantum Design for 23 years. He married his wife Susan in 1988.
Steven is survived by his wife Susan; children Mary Franzen, Heather (Cory) Daehn, Anita (Arvid) Mosnes, Miah (Graeme) Hesketh, and Richie Franzen; grandchildren Maze and Dakota Franzen, Brandon, Connor and Hayden Rosborough and Kayla and Carter Daehn; brothers Nick Franzen, Tim (Dawn) Franzen, Jon (Kathy) Franzen, and Mark (Margie) Franzen.

He was predeceased by his father Walter Franzen and mother Beverly Franzen.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Hope Evangelical Free Church, 5656 Elevator Road, Roscoe, IL with a memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockford Rescue Mission or Hope Evangelical Free Church.
