Shirley Eash-Amsbaugh (1953-2022) worked in child care for 25 years

Shirley Eash-Amsbaugh, 68, of Roscoe, IL, worked in child care for 25 years. She was born on October 31, 1953 in Harrisburg, AR, the daughter of Raymond and Georgia (English) Smith.

She passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Shirley loved spending time at the family's Arkansas residence, gardening, cooking, Harley riding, and any Native American artwork or crafts. Shirley’s most cherished time was what she spent with her grandchildren, family and two dogs.

Survivors include Jon Amsbaugh, her husband of 39 years; children Chad (Megan) Eash, Dalayna (David) Corey, Danielle (Larry) Hanley and Joseph Amsbaugh; grandchildren Paris, MJ, Kayla, Brianna, Brian, Jaye, Josh, Bailey, Kyla, Alyssa, Tyler, Autumn and Emily; six great-grandchildren; siblings Jan (Ron) King, Patsy (John) Linley, Wanda (Gary) Smith and Raymond Dale (Jennifer) Smith Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Michael Eash.
