Roscoe Township trustees voted on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 to order construction materials for a multipurpose pavilion at Founders Park, 4562 Hononegah Road in Roscoe, IL. It will be 24 by 52 feet with a 16 x 16 foot enclosed concession and a bathroom area with two baths.
The base bid from Scandroli Construction included the town square between the buildings but not the additional walks. But the township opted to include the additional walks, handicapped parking, and a drive in front of the Cross house. A cupola will be added to the pavilion to match the one atop the Roscoe Township Community Center.
