Josh Turner headlining Sunday at Old Settlers Days

Josh Turner is set to take the main stage at Old Settlers Days in Rockton, IL. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, April 1, 2023 right HERE

Josh Turner’s voice has been described as a cross between a modern Randy Travis and an old soul Nat King Cole. If your like many of his fans, you and your lover will love to grab a cold one and enjoy his velvet baritone voice to some of his most popular songs:

Long Black Train, Would You Go With Me, God. Family. Country. Country State of Mind, Soldier’s Gift, Go Tell It To The Mountain and Your Man

Turner first came on the country music scene in 2001 with the hit song “Long Black Train.” Since then, the journey he has been on has been filled with many highs and lows. Back in September 2019, a tour bus crash in California killed one person while injuring seven others. At the center of it all is his faith and his family. Turner has been married to his wife Jennifer since 2003. They met at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. They have four sons together and many times they travel on the road with him.

Josh has also dabbled into the field of acting. In 2008, he played George Shea in the film Billy: The Early Years, about the evangelist Billy Graham. George Shea was the soloist for the Billy Graham Crusades.

According to Josh Turner’s YouTube page, since 2008 he and his wife have been able to give back with a scholarship for the arts. The scholarships is for high school kids in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. To be eligible, you also need to wish to enter the music business or the arts. It's intended to support students in rural areas, such as the ones where Josh Turner grew up.
