Kevin (L) and Greg (R) will be playing Friday at the Roscoe Fall Festival. Lemon enlarged to show texture.

Associated with OGMC, Kevin & Greg will be singing on Friday, 6 – 10 p.m. Despite their names, the band actually consists of two talented teenage girls, sisters Kelsey and Grace Schultz. The story behind the band's name: as a child, Kelsey got nicknamed Kevin after a character in the 2009 Pixar movie Up. Then Grace wanted a nickname too, so she became Greg. Kelsey jokes they've been singing "from the womb."

Despite their youth, prepare to be surprised by their powerful singing and professional stage presence. Based in Milton, WI, they have been performing as Kevin & Greg for three years and have developed a dedicated following. Some of the venues where the two sisters been heard: Two Brothers Pub & Grill (ironically) in Edgerton WI , Neighbors Bar & Grill, the Rockford Speedway, and Crazy Times Pub & Grub.

In Wisconsin, they've appeared this summer at Pig Iron Pub in Beloit, the Anchor in Edgerton, Minha's Kitchen in Monroe, The Depot in Edgerton, Barkley's in Janesville, and Pettit's Lakeview Bar in Milton, and Greg's own high school graduation party.

Besides their original songs, the sisters have covered Lady Gaga (You and I), Taylor Swift, Theory of A Deadman, Maren Morris, ZZ Ward, and Maria McKee. At last year's Fall Festival, they did an acoustic version of the Eagles' Hotel California. A crowd favorite is their acoustic version of 4 Non Blondes What's Up.

Kevin (R) & Greg (L)

Kevin & Greg take modern and classic hits and give them a new life with their powerhouse vocals (especially Kevin/Kelsey, a soulful alto, but Greg/Grace is no slacker either) and tight harmonies (particularly Greg/Grace, who plays the acoustic guitar, but Kevin/Kelsey knows how to step back). Kevin & Greg are also accomplished songwriters. Kevin & Greg’s single, Big Stars, is part of the collection UTR Volume Two, which can be found on all major streaming outlets (Amazon, Spotify, YouTube, and Apple).
