Join us for a festive day getting ready for an 1840's Christmas at Macktown!

Activities include:

  • Horse drawn wagon rides!
  • Making ornaments in the Whitman House
  • Visiting the Whitman Store to see what people in the 1800's would purchase as gifts
  • Making toys with the Woodworker in the Stevens Carpenter Shop
  • Visiting the Mack House as it is being decorated in anticipation of friends and family visiting on Christmas Day

$5 admission

Children under 8 free

Macktown was Winnebago County's first settlement in the 1830s and the previous location of Native American campsites for thousands of years.
