Feb. 1, 2025:
Ann Folyer, 83, Roscoe
She worked at Macktown State Bank in Rockton for over 25 years. The ocean was her favorite place.

Feb. 2, 2025:
Phyllis A. Jensen, 72, South Beloit
Feb. 5, 2025:
Glenn I. Heidenreich, 88, Rockton
The father of a former Kinnikinnick School Board president, he was a resident of the Rockton area for many years.

Phyllis L. Jensen, 85, Rockton
A 1957 Hononegah graduate, she built a successful career as a hairstylist, working from her in-home beauty salon.

Feb. 7, 2025:
Pat McCleary, 88, South Beloit
He served for over three decades as head of the family-owned snack food business McCleary Inc./Axium Foods, after previously working there for over 20 years.

Joyce Mershon, 90, Roscoe
She and her husband lived in Iowa, Colorado, Florida and Alaska where they owned and managed several businesses. Joyce enjoyed baking, cooking and knitting in her free time.

Randy Spencer, 75, Rockton
He worked in construction, remodeling, general handyman work, and owned an equipment and video rental store. He excelled in woodworking, furniture making, and wood carving.

Feb. 8, 2025:
Dale Bowling, 67, Roscoe
He was a talented artist with beautiful penmanship, but his true passion was woodworking. He also had a true knack for restoring old Schwinn bikes.

Feb. 10, 2025:
David Sullivan, 72, Roscoe
He enjoyed the blues, Sudoku, and never gave up hoping for a big lottery win. He was a volunteer for the Roscoe Fire Department and set a record as a blood donor.

Feb. 11, 2025:
Fred Penna, 88, South Beloit
For more than 20 years, he was a chemist for Hach Chemical, then owned his own business for over 10 years. His family says he was one of the smartest men they knew.

Marty Prickett, 68, South Beloit
A skilled tool maker during his working career, in retirement he enjoyed woodworking, harvesting and canning from his fruit trees, and finding both thrill and peace riding motorcycles on the open road.

Feb. 11, 2025:
John Rossato, Sr., 97, Roscoe
Enlisting at age 17 during World War II. he served in the U.S. Navy until 1946. He was a leader in the Roscoe VFW Post 2955 for many years, laying a wreath in the Rock River each Pearl Harbor Day.

Feb. 15, 2025:
Diana Earls, 66, South Beloit
Besides an illustrious career as a manufacturing inspector, she was active in community service and passionate about gardening. Her life was typified by 1 Corinthians 16:14.
