Apr. 14, 2026:

Shirley Thorson, 93, South Beloit

A devoted mother and longtime Besley‑Wells employee, she cherished family, farm life, and the friendships and traditions that shaped her gentle, hardworking spirit.

Apr. 21, 2026:

Bruce E. Hedrington, 71, of South Beloit

A lifelong firefighter and MABAS pioneer, he served South Beloit and Beloit for decades and was devoted to training and public safety.

Marilyn Curry, 81, of Rockton

A devoted mother and Winnebago Foundry president, she loved camping, the outdoors, and the long friendships she made at Lakeview Campground. She was a 1962 graduate of Hononegah High School.

Jodie “Toad” Erickson‑Faust, 65, of South Beloit

A beloved mother and lifelong music lover, she was known for her humor, collections, and the joy she brought to family and friends.

Apr. 22, 2026:

David P. McKee Jr 83, of Rockton

A machinist, longtime Shirland firefighter and American Legion member, he was known for his humor, craftsmanship, and deep love for family.

Apr. 24, 2026:

Rita M. Korleski 91, of Rockton

A devoted wife, mother, and longtime Wagon Wheel Resort employee, she cherished family above all and leaves behind many children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren.

Thank you Shirley, Bruce, Marilyn, Jodie, David, and Rita for being a part of our communities. Rest well.
