Apr. 4, 2026:
Vicki L. Larson, 74, Roscoe
She enjoyed a long and successful career as a realtor in Glenview, Illinois, where her natural warmth built lasting relationships throughout the community. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.
Grant H. Rubert, 86, Roscoe
His career included administrating three Rockford nursing homes. He enjoyed boating, jet skiing and waterskiing. He built his own pontoon boat and four houses, landscaping his river property.
Apr. 7, 2026:
Cecilia E. Meyers, 83, Roscoe
Born in 1942 during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines, she met her husband during his deployment aboard an aircraft carrier. Beyond Filipino cooking, her hobbies included fishing, gambling, mahjong, poker, bingo, and crocheting.
Apr. 11, 2026:
Timmy M. Walker, 72, Roscoe
A longtime resident of Belvidere, he served as head school custodian at Meehan School until his retirement in 1996. For several years he played in bands throughout the Rockford area, including Roustabouts, Julien Harrison, Cross Fire, and Thunder River. Many of his songs can still be found on his YouTube channel today.
