Roscoe Memorial Day Parade - Mon May 29 11:00 am

Village of Roscoe

The Roscoe VFW and the Roscoe Middle School Band, among other groups, will take part in a Memorial Day Parade. Starting at the intersection of Bridge Street and Main Street, the parade route will follow Main Street to Harrison Street, proceeding down Harrison into the Roscoe Cemetery, 5550 Harrison Street, where the VFW will hold a Memorial Ceremony honoring Roscoe's fallen heroes. Everyone is invited. Certain roads will be closed at 10:30 a.m.[more details]

Blackhawk Memorial Days - Sat May 27 - Mon May 29

Registration required. The weekend begins with wheel-to-wheel races on Saturday, followed by another day of wheel-to-wheel races and a 90 minute enduro race on Sunday. The weekend concludes with a morning HPDE and afternoon autocross sessions on Monday.  [more details]

Rockton Memorial Day Parade - Mon May 29 9:00 am

Rockton Township Cemetery

The parade traditionally begins at 9:00 a.m. on Blackhawk Blvd. on the south side of the bridge over the Rock River, laying a wreath into the water, and heads north to the Rockton Township cemetery, with a short ceremony afterward. The parade usually includes the Hononegah High School Band. [more details]
