"I am looking to be re-elected because I love my hometown," Adleman says. "I want to make South Beloit a better place to live, work and play for our children and community."
"I am hoping we can stimulate business growth. South Beloit is perfectly positioned for growth with our vicinity to the exciting things happening in Downtown Beloit. The ABC Supply Stadium provides an opportunity for the City to work with developers and to provide pre and post event entertainment for families."
Adleman says, "One of the changes I’d like to explore would be to get a referendum for a 1% sales tax to help fund road construction and improvement." But he would like to organize a meeting to gather citizen input "before even having this issue put onto a ballot for a referendum."
"South Beloit’s major issue has historically been a lack of attention from various governmental entities. We have two state highways that run through South Beloit. We have been working to build relationships with IDOT to ensure South Beloit’s state highways are getting the improvements that are long overdue."
