Mike is one of four residents running under the banner of Citizens for a Better Roscoe.  He decided to throw his hat in the ring because he believes Roscoe has a lot of potential.

“The people of Roscoe deserve more. I want the village to be a better place to live. Economically, Roscoe should be growing at a good pace, but that’s not happening.

“As a trustee, I want to find out what the residents want for our village and will make myself available to talk with them.

“Commercial development is important. I am for responsible growth.  It’s great to have a Starbucks Coffee shop, but we need more, and we need to spend our money wisely.”

“Roscoe should have something to draw people to our town. We do not need to be just a bedroom community. Let’s make it vibrant.

“We need to work on making positive changes by improving the village website, getting on Facebook, and encouraging trustees to get involved with surrounding communities and organizations.

“Beloit is getting ready to build a casino.  We should be planning for it.  We need to start building restaurants and motels along I-90 and on Rockton Road.”

“I’m ready to go the distance.”
