Timothy Panjkovich (1960-2023)

Timothy M. Panjkovich, 62, was born August 15, 1960 to parents Melvin and Fredrika (Sauter) Panjkovich in Bismarck, North Dakota., 1960 to Melvin and Fredrika (Sauter)  He was a lifelong resident of Roscoe, Illinois and was a member at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Rockford, Illinois, where he served on the church council.

Timothy passed away on March 6, 2023.

During his younger years Timothy was a Life Level Boy Scout which contributed to his love of the outdoors.

As an adult, he was a member of the Augury Group, Roscoe Recovery, and Alcoholics Anonymous. He remained sober for over 25 years.

Timothy was a graduate of Blackburn College, Carlinville, IL.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 1983. His work history included computer operations, computer programming, computer processing, customer service and sales. Most of all, he enjoyed being a stay-at-home dad.

He enjoyed reading, computers, camping, outdoorsmanship and Culture in Faith. He appreciated the family property in Galena, Illinois where he spent most of his leisure time camping and working on outside projects.

Timothy had a strong love for his family. He was very fond of get-togethers at his brother’s house for barbecues. He was also generous with his old Dodge truck, teaching his nephew Cole how to drive a stick shift.

Funeral services were held March 14, 2023, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 675 North Mulford Rd, Rockford, Il.  61107.

Timothy is survived his children, Logan T. Panjkovich, Bailey M. Panjkovich; mother, Fredrika (Fritzi) M. (Sauter) Panjkovich; sister, Nancy G. (Panjkovich) Bowitz; brother, David A. Panjkovich; sister-in-law, Karin A. Panjkovich; nieces, Mia H. (Bowitz) Fincutter, Brittney N. May; nephews, Cole M. Panjkovich, Dru C. Bowitz, Justin G. May; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Melvin M. Panjkovich.
