- Rockton River Market is canceled today. Organizers say, "We'll figure out how we can bring Tony Rocker back in a different way. We'll see you on May 28" from 5 - 8 p.m. at Settlers Park.
- Village of Roscoe representatives will kick-start the grand opening of Sebastian's Cafe with a ribbon cutting ceremony today at 9:30 a.m. The breakfast-lunch restaurant is in Main Street Square Shopping Center, 5312 Williams Drive in Roscoe.
- The Winnebago County Soil & Water Conservation District is selling 55-gallon rain barrels. The collected rainwater is eco-friendly, naturally soft and free of chlorine, making it ideal for watering gardens.
