- The Rockton Township Historical Society is once again holding their Trash to Treasure Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17, 2025 from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. Stop by the museum at the corner of Blackhawk and Green Street in Rockton for rhubarb baked goods, geraniums, bargain decor, household items, outdoor items and much more.
- The Illinois Department of Transportation is asking the public to provide feedback on the state's transportation system and the agency’s overall performance by taking the annual Traveler Opinion Survey before May 30.
- Maddux Hibbard, a finance major from Rockton, IL, was part of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team which earlier this month won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship for the 23rd time.
