Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11:15 AM. 10 dollar donation to the SOBO Athletic Club to enter. Winner takes home $500.
  • Starting on May 18, 2026, the Winnebago County Highway Department will replace seven pipe culverts on Roscoe Road, between IL-2 and Clearwing Lane, with an expected completion date of June 5, 2026, depending on weather. Roscoe Road, between IL-2 and Clearwing Lane will be closed to through traffic during this time. The contractor intends to start at the pipe culvert just west of Clearwing Lane on Roscoe Road and progress westerly to IL-2. A hard closure will be in effect at each pipe culvert crossing while it is actively being replaced. Traffic will not be allowed to pass through the active construction location. Access for local traffic will be provided from the west side and from the east side of the closure associated with the individual pipe culvert being replaced.
