More hospital beds in Roscoe, one less lawsuit

- Our reporters will be covering today's public hearing on the proposed NorthPointe Neighborhood Hospital, a 10-bed facility proposed by Beloit Health System and FHN to "improve healthcare access, keep patients closer to home, and strengthen regional health services." Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposal.
- On Thursday, former Hononegah quarterback Tom Castelli moved to dismiss his federal civil rights lawsuit known as Doe vs. Hononegah. The defendants included Hononegah staff members Chad Dougherty, Brian Zimmerman, Andrew Walters, Jeremy Warren, and Kendra Asbury, as well as football parents Brian and Nicole Kelly. Castelli's lawsuit is being dismissed "without prejudice," meaning that another one could be refiled later. According to WIFR, Vecchio Law Offices intends to re-file in state court this week. A previous state lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice.
