- Starting at 6 a.m. today, northbound and southbound traffic on IL Route 2 at Union Street through the construction zone over the Rock River bridge will be reduced to a single lane for an unspecified duration. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area and plan their morning commute accordingly to account for anticipated traffic congestion.
