  • In his Winter Hearth and Harvest class, chef Andy Skupien from Roscoe will teach couples how to prepare comforting, rustic dishes that feel like they came straight from a French countryside kitchen. On Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at Farmers Rising on East Rockton Road, you and your partner will craft rich pâté, master a silky warm vichyssoise, and roast chicken to crisp perfection under Chef Andy’s guidance. The night finishes with a decadent bourbon-kissed bread pudding. You can register online to start the year with warmth, flavor, and togetherness.
  • Gerald J. Ritzert, previously of Roscoe, is now serving as Chief Financial Officer for Isabella Bank Corporation in Mount Pleasant, Michigan instead of for First National Bank and Trust in Beloit.
