We remember those who are no longer with us in Rockton, Roscoe, and South Beloit.
  • Beginning April 20, 2026, Winnebago County Highway Department is widening the pavement on Old River Road just south of the Roscoe Road intersection Depending on weather, they expect to be finished by May 31, 2026. Old River Road will remain open throughout construction, though intermittent single-lane closures will be required. But for a few hours, a full road closure will be necessary for a pipe culvert installation. That exact date will be announced once they know when.
