- Hononegah Community High School hosted the 3rd Annual Northern Illinois Small District Conference (NISDC) on Friday, April 24, 2026. About 750 dedicated educators from the Rockton, Kinnikinnick, Prairie Hill, Winnebago, Shirland, South Beloit, and Hononegah school districts participated, as well as the Winnebago County Special Education Cooperative. Our managing editor visited the event.
