In the news
- First grader Oliver Esmond had a great day Friday, ruling Ledgewood School as Principal for the Day. Since he had declared it Stuffed Animal Day, the classrooms were filled with special friends. Oliver arrived at school in a fire truck complete with lights and sirens, then helped Principal Chad Etnyre get all the students inside safely to start their day. He assisted with morning announcements, checked on students, and patrolled the halls with a walkie talkie. Oliver also supervised lunch, helped collect hot lunch tickets, enjoyed a Culver’s takeout meal with Mr. E, and finished up the day painting kindness rocks (with Mr. E.). The students enjoyed visiting and dancing with Rally the Rivetsaurus.
- 7th and 8th Grade Rec Night is scheduled at Stephen Mack Middle School for Thursday, April 17, but very few volunteers have signed up to help. The PTO says, "If we do not have at least 12 parents signed up by Monday, April 14th, we will have to cancel this event."
- Hononegah Community High School is looking for an English teacher. Beside excellent pay and benefits, they will help you get dual credit certification to teach college speech/communications. Applications are due April 25, 2025.
