- Roscoe residents have differing opinions about adding a four-way stop with flashing lights at McCurry and Love Roads. Steve Martin says the new lights will only slow down traffic without making the intersection safer. Liz Riesche, a Roscoe resident since 2024, says the lights will promote defensive driving. She has witnessed several bad accidents there and believes the owners of the farmland on the north side of the intersection should be required to cut back their brush. The traffic studies in 2022 concluded, "The majority of the accidents happened after a vehicle on Love Road (north or southbound) stopped at the intersection and then proceeded without yielding to the other vehicle on McCurry Road."
