Bruce Hedrington, age 71, was honored on Saturday, May 2 by the South Beloit Fire Department, when his funeral was held at the South Beloit High School auditorium. His nephew Rich Rowlett shared that the large space was needed as there were over 100 local fire fighters in attendance. Bruce was a member of the South Beloit Concerned Citizen's committee. He served as Deputy Chief of both the South Beloit and Beloit Fire Departments.
